At Riot Kayaks we stand behind all of our kayaks with our North American 5-year Limited Warranty.
In the event of a problem with your kayak our main goal is to resolve the issue in a straight-forward and hassle-free manner, getting you back on the water as quickly as possible.

Please keep in mind that only manufacturing defects are covered, normal wear and tear are not. We understand that whitewater kayaking sometimes involves direct contact with rocks, but, unless proven that the material was defective, hull failures resulting from impacts or abrasion are not covered.

If your warranty issue entitles you to a replacement kayak it is advisable for you to find a local non-residential address that would accept your shipment (or arrange with your local Riot Kayak dealer for a drop-off at their store) as every kayak shipment going to a residential address will be invoiced at an extra fee
By properly filling out the warranty form, you ensure yourself the best possible service and response time we can offer.
Your original sales receipt is mandatory to prove that you are the first owner of the boat and pictures are required for us to validate your claim.
Make sure that the quality of the pictures is good enough for us to work properly and that the damage is clearly visible. For example, to show a small crack, insert a pen or a sharp object in it, to show a warped section, put a ruler next to it and so on.
