It's
always a Riot
Riot started
with little more than one seemingly simple idea: We wanted
to make kayaks that were better than what we had been paddling
all these years. Our aspiration was to design and manufacture
kayaks that gave the paddler better performance, complete,
comfortable outfitting and an unprecedented quality of finish.

Like
any first descent or voyage into uncharted waters, the
route towards a better kayak has not always been an
easy one. Yet, the result of our continuing efforts
is that word is getting out about the quality and performance
of Riot. This year we garnered both consumer and industry
accolades, taking home an OUTSIDE magazine “Gear
of the Year” award, as well as winning the award
for Innovation from the Canadian Plastics Industry Association.
Nowadays,
we make a kayak for every condition, situation and paddling
desire: from bombing down a steep alpine creek to a
quick solo afternoon paddle or an extended expedition
with the family.
